    • Increased sensitivity to light, sound or touch
    • Difficulty with concentration, memory and attention
    • Difficulty communicating with and understanding others
    • Feeling suspicious or fearful of others, including people they have trusted before
    • Hearing sounds or voices, seeing visions, or experiencing strange sensations that others do not perceive
    • Odd or unusual behaviors or beliefs that are new and uncharacteristic for the person
    • Difficulties in school or work that are new, significant and progressive
    • Social withdrawal from friends and family

Loved ones join a caring group of individuals helping one another by utilizing their collective lived experiences and learned wisdom. Together we will learn more about early psychosis, and the treatment and resources offered by the Department of Mental Health's PIER Program, available to youth aged 12-25. Participants can achieve a renewed sense of hope for their child/loved one living with mental health challenges. Our virtual support groups are facilitated on Zoom.
