NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions. It is a designated evidenced-based program. This means that research shows that the program significantly improves the coping and problem-solving abilities of the people closest to a person with a mental health condition. NAMI Family-to-Family is taught by NAMI-trained family members who have been there, and includes presentations, discussions and interactive exercises.

In Person NAMI Family-to-Family 4 Week Express Class
STARTS Saturday, July 11th 2026
9am-2:30pm PST
A free 4 week express education program for family, friends, and significant others of adults with mental health conditions. This express class condenses the full NAMI Family-to-Family curriculum into 4 extended sessions over the course of 4 weeks. NAMI Family-to-Family provides information about anxiety, depressive disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions. Other topics covered include communication, problem solving, treatment and recovery. The course is designed to increase understanding and advocacy skills while helping participants maintain their own well-being. The program is taught by trained family members who have a loved one with a mental health condition.

Virtual NAMI Family-to-Family Class
STARTS Tuesday, July 14th 2026
6pm-8:30pm PST
A free 8 week express virtual education program for family, friends, and significant others of adults with mental health conditions. NAMI Family-to-Family provides information about anxiety, depressive disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions. Other topics covered include communication, problem solving, treatment and recovery. Our virtual classes are facilitated through the Zoom platform.
